OUR BEGINNING

G' is a Free Company (the equivalent of a guild) on the Leviathan server in Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. We are the most active and biggest FC alliance on the Primal server since 2014 with many returning members.

The FC was formed back on August 4th, 2014 by Nimbus Tupti. The Free Company was initially created to help new players progress in the game. We wanted to help as many people with questions and get them clears through content. We believe that the new players today will be our future officers, raiders, and omnicrafter/gathers. So we want to do everything in our power to help them fufill their goals.

Geuno has been very ambitious since its start, reaching rank 8 (the highest rank attainable) by its third week as an FC, and has always striven to be #1 on the monthly server and world rankings on the Lodestone. For the most part, we are consistently ranked top for being the most active FC on the Leviathan Server. Since our community has branched off, our Free Companies have striven to be listed as the top Free Companies on the Lodestone for Leviathan! Our G’ branches are all interconnected with the same activities. We do not load them with alts of alts for empty numbers, nor do we hoard inactive members to bloat our numbers. All FC’s maintain a healthy purge rate.

A GROWING HISTORY

In December 2015, we expanded to Jeuno, which is located in the Mist. Our numbers continued to increase, so we expanded to Mysidia, in February, 2016. We then decided to branch off again in November 2016 to our fourth Free Company, San d'Oria. Our last Free Company that we have expanded to was Wutai, which was brought into the alliance in May, 2017. In 4.0, due to lack of content from Patch 4.1 onward, we had to shut the doors to Jeuno, Mysidia, and Wutai temporarily. Both the communities were merged into San d'Oria and Geuno. In December 2018, we closed Wutai due to decreased player population on Leviathan. These members were merged into San d’Oria, and then back to Geuno in preparation for patch 5.0 further focusing on quality members.

We have also opened a branch called Luca on the Famfrit Server in December 2018. We later opened a new branch called Windurst that is located on the Ultros Server in May, 2019. We were able to reopen a fourth branch on Lamia in July, 2021 that was named San d’Oria. We were then able to expand our free company again in January, 2022. We opened Wutai again, but this time we opened it on the Behemoth Server. In March we were able to reopen Mysidia but this time it was on the Exodus server. In August of 2023 we opened our 7th branch on the Excalibur server, named Selbina. Then in October of 2023 we opened our latest and eighth branch on Hyperion, named Narshe.

It has been a lot of work to keep all of our Free Companies going, but it has been rewarding. We have met a lot of interesting people throughout our journey, and we wouldn't have it any other way!

OUR GOALS

Our goals are to bring an active community to our servers. We offer a helpful community experience for new players, veterans, raiders, mid-core players, casuals, gatherers, crafters, PvPers and more! Our members aid new players and welcome them to the game. We host a variety of events to help, and are always looking for new and exciting ways to engage with the community. Everyone is welcome in our free company, and we are always growing to stay active. We do have an 18+ community, so sometimes there are adult topics in Free Company chat.

Currently we have multiple other branches of G' across servers: Geuno (G1) on Leviathan, Luca on the Famfrit Server, Windurst on the Ultros Server, San’doria on the Lamia Server, Wutai on the Behemoth, Mysidia on the Exodus server, Selbina on the Excalibur server, and our youngest branch, Narshe, on the Hyperion server! They are all managed in the same way as Geuno. Although they have different officers, they share the same Master. We have helpful members in these Free Companies, all of which share the same goals. We may look more into branching out to help players find a great community when the cross-world Free Company Alliances feature has advanced.

FC PERKS

MEMBERS & ACTIVE PEAK TIMES

We have players that are located throughout the world and are online at different times! From US to EU to Oceania. Although we have active players online at all times, busiest hours are 8:00 p.m. until 1.00 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time.

Our members are very diverse, spanning from casual players to hardcore players, and brand new players to seasoned veterans. Everyone can be part of the FC, as long as their primary goal is to have a good time and help each other out in game. We have a reputation for helping players get clears and answering questions. We have our members to thank for such an amazing community, we could not do it without them!

WEEKLY AND SEASONAL EVENTS

Some are monthly, while others are weekly. Some events yield prizes, while others simply provide fun and help players out. Such events include:

Map runs
Raids, Learning Parties, Wondrous Tails
Monthly FC Lottery
Seasonal events with exclusive prizes
Incentive events from the FC Master for members and officers alike: Mogstation items, Time cards, and new game codes!

HOUSING

We have a Large mansion located on EACH server for ALL our Free Companies. Each of our mansions have:

Moogle Mailbox,
Mender vendors,
gardens,
orchestrion,
Chocobo stables,
a crafting room to help level up crafting classes,
complete with Junkmonger and Mender NPCs,
a copy of The Unending Journey,
an Aesthetician bell,
and a beautifully furnished interior.
In Heavensward, we have built four airships in each Free Company to actively explore the Diadem, and enjoy allowing the FC to ascend to great heights, as we take part in new content! You can learn more about our housing in our Free Companies section.

FC CHEST

Those with ranks ‘Members’ and above will have free access to Tab 1 of the FC chest. This is where we share items, player food, Chocobo food, etc. with the active members. Please be considerate when using the community chest. Usually food and items are grouped into clumps of 3-5. If you see a row of 5 Krakka Roots lined up, do not up and take the whole row - instead take one stack at a time. This is to make sure we have enough for other members throughout the day. The officers will do their best to keep player food and Chocobo food stocked daily.

CHOCOBO DYES

Interested in dyeing your feathery friends? We offer the required items for 1 coloring scheme monthly based on availability.

RAIDING

We currently have hundreds of active members and some raid groups, running 8 man instanced raids. We are also always willing to create more raid groups. There is a demand for raid groups in our free company, we just have troubles finding motivated raid group leaders. Anyone is welcome to join our free company raid groups, as long as they are willing to learn, assist, be on time, and commit to their raid groups!
